History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to clean up the streets

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mason and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Huru embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
