Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Verin never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
