History: She was raised in a island tribe. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

History: Adelard was born with his father's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but he was a colossal failure. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and doesn't want to be a spy and was forced into it by his family

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a white costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso, and is pretty ugly. Her black hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
