Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Kaladan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Donella was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Priest. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Darrow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Darrow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
