History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Jacoba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Jacoba was taken on many hunting expeditions. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

His auburn hair is singed and shortened. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Altho has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and human compassion

History: Eberk was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
