History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: The child of a Glassblower, who enjoyed hunting, Aelar was taken on many hunting expeditions. Aelar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
