History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Barkeep work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barkeep work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.
