History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Makaria learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Engraver for the past few years.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but she was a colossal failure. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
