History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lone was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He now owns his own business.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Kriv and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
