History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His orange fur is long and unkept. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Mortician father left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Five and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: She was born in the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

Description: A middle-aged man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and is pretty ugly. His green crest is thinning but still full. His red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: This eastern man wears a red vest and prefers tan and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
