History: Joan lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content; and she wants to get laid

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. Her hair is long and red with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small grey clips. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Whurdred is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Whurdred took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture
