History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Mara learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Map Maker like her mother before her.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lamlis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Eloise isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Bather father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
