History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Stylist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
