Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Druid school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
