History: Gifted from a young age, Fragrant studied abroad. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
