History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
