History: He comes from a rich western family. His first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and money/treasure

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
