Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Alvyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Gifted from a young age, Avelina studied abroad. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Avelina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Avelina. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Mamnen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Mamnen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.
