History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Therai was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Therai's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.
