History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Balimaar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thradal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She wears a colorful flower in her red hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Born in the south to a Priest, Bolhild learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently the stress of being a Priest has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: To be a Servant again; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Volen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Volen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she wants revenge against drow
