History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Bellfounder kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
