History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arumawann grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
