History: Thar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
