History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and doesn't want to be a merchant and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vorka's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vorka grew up listening to her father's many stories. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Halimath embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and wants a kiss

She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
