Personality: Umpen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in the north. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Her brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mary fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
