Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Direcris will drive conversation. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Direcris hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Direcris was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears just a green suit. His crest, while still mostly gold, has prominent grey streaks. His red eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cook born in the past three hundred years. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished flail as well. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are amber.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and human compassion

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She keeps her blonde hair in a flapper bob. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: An older woman who usually wears her blue robe and has her sword always slung over her shoulder, she is not a threatening figure. Her chestnut hair is still thick. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady amber eyes.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and to reunite with her absent mother
