History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Rolf's homeland. Rolf decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
