History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Barendd took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Tagga took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Tagga was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: Gifted from a young age, Vanuath studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
