History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Avelina was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Brewer. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Avelina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses divination through singing.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

This search led her directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Carrie abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality
