She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Fax studied abroad. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Ar-Beka hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
