History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Painter but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
