History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Halander took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Pyntle was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Pyntle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is greedy

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
