History: Mantus lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country.
