History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north to a Bricklayer, Nykkan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Nykkan took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He tends to his Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Ar-Baruk hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears tattered old clothes. With wild white hair. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Performer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Oriel was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
