History: Phann was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She tends to her Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Mordai lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Avice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
