Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Akoth has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win.
