History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balifra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His cinnamon fur is knotted and matted. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jade grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jade. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sora grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and regain custody of his daughter
