History: Ortegar was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now mingles about in high society.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Helen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.
