History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Butcher. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vapula does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Butcher. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and sabotage a competitor
