Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Umpen is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Medrash enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Medrash was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He is portly but not overly obese. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Barendd was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a great chef.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
