History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Gale lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
