When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gilkass took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Fisher, and she later adopted a second son.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has worked as a Stableman like her father before her.
