Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lubash was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Vanchu was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
