History: Megren lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. Her white fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. Her copper eyes peer out from beneath her feathered pastel hat.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Shadow never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Katherine was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
