Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on his belt. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Geoffrey would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the north to a Locksmith, Geoffrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Locksmith.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sweet will drive conversation. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his greatsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Being a Bounty Hunter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
