History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Heian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jelenneth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

History: Born in the west to a Miller, Nogu learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she desires power and/or immortality
