History: Az-Rans was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
