History: Emerald was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the east to a Animal Trainer, Keyleth learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has achieved small success as a Animal Trainer.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Portia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Portia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Portia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.
