Personality: Arava is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cockaby studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Description: She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her brown fur has been sun bleached extensively. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shivering embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Layabout. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Layabout business.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Description: She is lean but muscular and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her white hair is singed and shortened. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom
