History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Balifra's homeland. Balifra decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Miller. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She became a Miller soon after.
